Mineral exploration and mine site services require specialized knowledge of and experience in Canada’s harsh, remote northern conditions and terrain. Nuna possesses this knowledge and experience. Since the first diamond discovery in Canada, Nuna has supplied the majority of Nunavut’s and the Northwest Territories’ mine developments with vital crushing services and site infrastructure construction. By employing our complete crushing plants, we have crushed natural esker or recycled mine pit waste rock and blasted rock for the construction of runways (3,000 to 7,000 feet), over 400 kilometres of site access roads (ranging from 20–25 metres wide to 1–3 metres high), dam and dike material, and pads for 100- to 350-person camps, shops, and tank farms.
